Suar is a large tropical tree, also known as Monkey Pod or the Rain Tree. It grows in Indonesia and other tropical regions and can reach approximately 50–80 ft (15–25 m) in height, with its impressive umbrella-shaped canopy spreading up to 100 ft (30 m) wide.
Suar wood is especially valued for its unique natural grain. The rich, darker heartwood contrasts beautifully with the lighter edges, while the interlocking grain creates a striking natural pattern. As a result, every slab has its own individual character and no two are ever exactly alike.

Clean up water, coffee, wine, and other liquids immediately. Gently blot the surface rather than rubbing.
Cleaning Products
Do not use abrasive sponges, bleach, solvents, alcohol-based cleaners, or other harsh chemicals.
Surface Protection
Use coasters or trivets under hot dishes and drinks, and placemats under objects that could scratch the surface.
Oils and Waxes
